Россия обладает конкурентными преимуществами на рынке майнинга и может использовать его как источник экспортной выручки. Об этом заявил финансовый директор пула EMCD Станислав Акулинкин в ходе круглого стола в Общественной палате РФ.
По его словам, легализация добычи криптовалют благотворно скажется на развитии российской экономики.
🔺«Майнинг — это четкий источник экспортной выручки для России. Он осуществляется на территории страны, в процессе задействованы источники энергии, охрана. Это реальный бизнес, в котором у России есть конкурентные преимущества, поскольку профицит электроэнергии в стране составляет порядка 24 млрд кВт⋅ч в год. Сейчас российские майнеры добывают порядка $4 млрд», — подчеркнул Акулинкин.
Неконтролируемая добыча криптовалют чревата перебоями электроснабжения, ростом перекрестного субсидирования и авариями на электросетях, сказал генеральный директор BitRiver Игорь Рунец.
🔺«Регулирование позволит напрямую использовать энергетические ресурсы страны, поскольку майнинг, по сути, экспорт электроэнергии без проводов. В перспективе это позволит увеличить энергопотребление в России и снизить тарифы на электричество», — добавил он.
Рунец также не исключил, что для РФ криптовалюты могут стать «частью суверенитета страны в условиях новой экономики».

Now Russian miners are producing about $4 billion,” Akulinkin said.
Uncontrolled mining of cryptocurrencies is fraught with power outages, increased cross-subsidization and power outages, said BitRiver CEO Igor Runets.
🔺“Regulation will allow direct use of the country's energy resources, since mining is, in fact, the export of electricity without wires. In the future, this will increase energy consumption in Russia and reduce electricity tariffs,” he added.
